Well, I'm kind of a geography nerd so when I come across people like this it p*sses me off. I can actually get swallowed up looking at maps and be worthless for hours as a result. Especially when I happen to be using those maps to link up some history I may be reading. Early maps of NW Montana are freaking gold to me right now.
Whenever playing Trivial Pursuit, I always kick ass in the geography category. I've noticed it's the most difficult for most people I've played against. Also, when watching Trebek I always perk up when there's a geography category.
I should've been a geographer, but 15 years ago when these decisions should have been made I was under the impression that since 99.99% of the world had been explored the only thing one could do with a geogrpahy degree is teach geography. Little did I know that GPS would expand the field so much. Damn it.
I don't know as much about Canadian geography as I'd like but I'm decent with the BC interior. You can't touch me on the US I'll bet. I rule. :P
