Stewart seems to emphasise that the Republics are very good at implementing all the wrong things.
He also demonstrates that the Democrats are incredibly poor at implementing all the right things.
He has regularly hammered Obama and the Democrats for being ineffectual. For example, he wanted Universal Health Care and thinks Obamacare is wrong in that it was watered down to appease the right wing of the Democrats. Watered down to the point of being almost useless.
I think if he considered the Republicans right and the Democrats wrong, FoL would find Stewart funnier. If he did a skit parodying Obermann FoL might like it.
