Beck's logic as you put it is in seeing patterns in history and how they are repeating themselves or progressing today. Jon Steward and You both ignore Beck's premise for why he sees danger in where the country is and where it is heading.
Jon Steward's schlick was very funny. Beck is easy material to work with because of his over the top expressive style. What Steward didn't do is "destroy Beck's logic". He in fact didn't address Beck's basis for his reasoning.
In fairness to Steward his job is to be funny. You on the other hand seem to want to be willfully ignorant. I look foreward to your silence.
