You can't kill your self by putting your head under water or putting a bag over your head. The doctor's story sounds fishy at best and I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't a assisted suicide or murder.
Sure you can, but I assume your extensive medical training has lead you to your iron clad conclusions.
