It seems to be that socialist/capitalism hybrid is the way to go for lack of a better description "distributing the wealth" seems to work.
It appears to seem so much more difficult to move up a class in america. Example: dad sweeps floors all his life for his kid to afford college, dad has an early health issue and all those savings are gone, children do not go to college and the advance of that family stalls for another generation. This doesn't take into account that the child is probably not able to go to a decent school that could prepare it for college,which is another issue altogether.

I guess it is more like a rising tide lifts all boats.
