Are there 2 MLK days in the US?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_..._King,_Jr._Day

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a United States Federal holiday marking the birthday of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.. It is observed on the third Monday of January each year, which is around the time of King's birthday, January 15. King was the chief spokesman for nonviolent activism in the civil rights movement, which successfully protested racial discrimination in federal and state law. He was assassinated in 1968.

What are the hours of the Rally?
Official hours are 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2010.

I must have missed something, how is August 28, 2010 the same as It is observed on the third Monday of January each year, which is around the time of King's birthday, January 15

I was never really a whizbang at math but the difference in dates seems close to 5 months
