Good advice? He gave it blindly. It cannot be good. Protein supplements are probably one of the most over-prescribed aids in weight loss.
1) Most people, especially casual exercisers, do not need extra protein in their diet.
2) Protein powder is relatively expensive.
3) It ends up being just easy added calories.
