Please explain how blending fruit reduces fibrous benefits. Granted you don't burn as many calories by not chewing...

I like incorporating smoothies in my diet. Try blueberry, pineapple, a bit of agave, and almond milk.

If you're a cereal eater, sprinkle on some berries (fresh or dried) on top of cereal in the morning.

Probably the biggest thing for me was buying easy or pre-prepped stuff. As stupid as it sounds, I'll eat more veggies if I can go into the fridge and grab them as opposed to having to wash/slice/prep them myself. Costco has great deals on veggie trays, and I'll always keep a bag of little carrots and sugar snap peas on hand. Makes for good snacking while watching TV or surfing the net.

Also, toss your fruits and veggies where they're accessible. You're more likely to grab the carrots if they're front and centre in the fridge and keep the junk food in the crisper, or the back of the fridge.

One other trick I like is replacing bread with veggies. Instead of making a wrap with a pita or tortilla, I'll wrap it with a few leaves of romaine.
