There is always the combination of injuries to starters giving a backup a chance, young guys who start slow but once they get up to speed are great, OCs who figure out better ways to utilize players, and finally the final few weeks of the schedule match ups.

I've had a bad habit of picking a young guy, carrying him for a while, running into injury troubles and dropping him, only to see him flourish a few weeks later for someone else.
