As I read, the guys who dominated the last 3 weeks of the fantasy season last year were Jarome Harrison, and Jamaal Charles. Nobody drafted either of those guys, so as the season wears on, there should be backs to grab off the scrap heap if I pay attention and need to replace the two guys I have, not to mention I do have Harrison as a backup.

There is always the combination of injuries to starters giving a backup a chance, young guys who start slow but once they get up to speed are great, OCs who figure out better ways to utilize players, and finally the final few weeks of the schedule match ups.
I've had a bad habit of picking a young guy, carrying him for a while, running into injury troubles and dropping him, only to see him flourish a few weeks later for someone else.
