A couple years ago we used to be able to get these coupons books for Turner Valley golf club as well as Highwood golf club. You paid about $40 for them but they gave you a free round and a whole bunch of 2 for 1 rounds. I haven't seen them available at all this year. Too bad they were a really sweet deal.
I think they were through a company called blue circle or something like that.

I don't know if it's the same coupon book that you're talking about or not, but there's something called "Golf Pass Southern Alberta Coupon Book". There's a new edition every year and it features a bunch of 2 for 1 golf deals. It's listed on the Golf Town website for $29.97:
