I was born with a forehead the size of a drive-in movie theatre and 2 widows peaks. I've noticed my hair has thinned but not regressed. Thus, I've been using Nioxin #1 for years because my hair loss has been minimal and I love it. Like has been repeated, you won't grow much new hair but you'll keep your existing hair and it will look thicker.
My barber said that once a year it's good to mix it up so your hair doesn't adjust to it, so over the past few months I bought American Crew revitalizing shampoo and Bed Head Regrowth Leave-in conditioner. I've been going to this barber for 10 years and this is the first time he ever really tried to sell me product, so I don't think he was fooling me. It was only $50 for both and I've been using them for over 3 months now. He said once that product is finished to go back to Nioxin.

Is there any consensus on age where you should be safe? I always thought 30ish was a good age but I hear more and more about people that really start losing it far after their early 30s.
