Shifting from the more general to the specific. I know I find this summer to be quite frustrating. You can expect half the threads on the Flames part of site to contain some or all of the following stunning arguments:

1) Sutter (Darryl) is an idiot
2) The Flames never give young players a chance
3) Any Flame over 30 is washed up and on a steep decline in terms of their career
4) (related to 3) Any Flame on a downward statistical trend (even if it is only for one of two years and that player may have suffered serious injuries in that timeframe) will continue that trend and has no possibility of a bounce back season
5) The Flames should just give up and aim for worst since they clearly aren't a Cup contender

I'm sure there's others.

Having to deal with those arguments on a daily basis is going to annoy anyone IMO unless you blindly believe those yourself. I applaud the patience of people who can still reasonably respond to those arguments because my patience for them has been running very thin. My frustration and hostility level has definitely gone up.
