Hey everyone, I see a couple of other references to NFL Fantasy leagues/pools in this forum so I thought I would post an "ad" here.
I'll preface this with...I am a "new" fan when it comes to NFL..3 maybe 4 years in...and I've decided to start an NFL Dynasty Fantasy League on myfantasyleague.com. I started the league just before the season started last year so we "played" around with it a little last season..but for all intents and purposes this is our inaugral (sp?) season. With these 2 things in mind there will be a fair amount of growing pains with this league as rules are fine tuned and what not.
We had a 5 round rookie draft in June and recently finished up a 40 round vet draft. The team in question was drafted using an ADP (Average Draft Position) list.
Some of the things about the league..
- 2 divisions of 5 teams each
- Top 3 from each div make the playoffs
- First place teams get a bye in the first round
- Season is first 13 weeks, playoffs are weeks 14, 15, & 16
- League uses IDPs (Individual Defensive Players)
- Buy in is $50, Payouts are 65%, 25%, 10% (the cost of the league, ~$100, is shared by everyone and taken from the pot)

The franchise available has the default name of Franchise 10 in the Columbia division.
