I can see where you are coming from. And at the end of the day, we all have our estimates and if needed can hopefully agree to disagree (and not make it a personal thing.)
I like the discussion to see different information and numbers/interpretations of it.

His website is a great source of numbers and his comments on his own blog are pretty good. He even points out the weather "excuse" and some misleading/incorrect numbers from our local real estate board.
