The Focaccia is baked fresh each day, and Sal makes the sandwiches when you order. More people need to walk by Holy Grill and go to Caffe Mauro. Help support a proper Italian cafe in Calgary (Spolumbo's special is not even in the same zip code as this sandwich).
You've changed my life. On this recommendation, I went there immediately, and I concur. I think that's the best panino I've had outside of Italy. Pricey though. The proscuitto bocconcini is $12, AND the debit machine asks for a tip. Sorry, Sal. I don't tip on take out.
