Has there been any discussion about what they are going to do to ensure that those employees that crossed the line are not mistreated by the returning employees. Or is this even a concern?

This is going to be a huge concern.
Just before I started at Mobility years ago. There was a mini lock out for just a couple of days. It was the end of a work day and the company gathered everyone and said "go home and be locked out or return to your desks to work." the majority left and over the weekend everything was resolved but the people who chose to stay were not so much persecuted but more ignored.
What kind of work environment would you have when it was primary shift work and nobody would trade shifts to help you or so much as say hi or answer any work related questions.
This time is around it will be different as there is a much larger base of personal that crossed but from what I understand they are in a minority.
