I got a chance to check one of these out first hand on the weekend, and I have to say- to me it is the first great rival to the iphone.
At first look, it almost even looks like an iphone, but it is lighter, and surprisingly slimmer. The screen is beautiful, I dont know the res but must be higher than iPhone 3Gs, and apparently it doesnt require a screen protector. My friend told me it has one built in.
Now, I dont know if this part is true, but he also told me that in addition to being able to dl a ton of android apps, that it will also do itunes apps. Is this true?
If so, I think this phone likely trumps the iPhone 3GS, which IMO is better than the 1st version of iphone 4.
Maybe this could have gone in the Android thread, but I thought this is a major breakthrough for android, and is the first Android phone I've seen that I am legitimately jealous of. Thoughts? Can anyone tell me for sure about the app thing?
