Yeah. The people of Chad are doing nothing more than sharing water that they don't have to spare, food that they don't have to spare and firewood that they don't have to spare.
For them to take in these refugees WITHOUT any services was an incredible burden on the general population, yet by the quotes from the Red Cross they did it because these are people that need help.
In Canada, providing services for the refugees is a tiny fraction of our tax dollars. Our federal revenues is about 220 billion, of which 1.3 billion goes to immigration. I think the people of Chad have more of a burden to deal with.
