We have been using Basecamp for a while and it's great as long as you just need something simple. Calendars, milestones, to-do's, and email reminders are all present. Unfortunately, it doesn't go too far beyond that. There aren't any real project tracking and timeline planning tools like GANT charts, etc.
Project is really cool, but if anyone in your office isn't comfortable with it, it can turn into a nightmare.
