Who are you to determine that? Are you the "god of what's good and what's bad"? Are you judging it because of a music background/expertise/critic or whatever turns your particular crank?

I'm a musician, and thus I'm able to appreciate other talented musicians better than most people. Does that mean other people are wrong to like the music they do? Absolutely not, musical taste, as I mentioned, is entirely subjective...but it doesn't mean it's any good if one looks at it objectively.
If someone claimed that Cory Cross was a better defenseman than Rhett Warrener, could you not say they were absolutely wrong and be correct in that sentiment? You'd probably call them an ignorant Oilers homer, and you'd be right. Likewise, I can tell someone who likes Nickelback that there are many more talented bands out there, and I'd be right.
There are people who think that a Big Mac combo is better than a five course meal from a fine French restaurant.
That's their opinion, but they're objectively wrong.
There are people who think that Home Alone is a better movie than Citizen Kane.
That's their opinion, but they're objectively wrong.
There are people who think that Baywatch is better than 24.
That's their opinion, but they're objectively wrong.
And yes, there are people who think that Nickelback is better than...well, almost every other band.
That's their opinion, but they're objectively wrong.
