The reason I feel dress is important is because it conveys an image of responsibility and discipline.
Why does the military harp so much on dress uniforms? Discipline, leadership, presentation. You want to put this image across to your fellow workers and your bosses. Casual wear to me does not convey this image. That's all i'm trying to say.
I understand corporate cultures are different. And you need to sort of blend in with that otherwise you will stick out like a sore thumb. I just feel as though we have a responsibility to look nice to the place you go every day, not only for your own sake, but the people around you as well and all those you interact with on a daily basis.
