Need help: Painting and home reno
I suck at all things renos. I do however work with my hands so I am a quick learner. Just need some guidance.
My living room/house sucks. So I gave away all my old nasty furniture and I wanna start fresh. House is 25 years old. Walls are currently light beige with white trim around baseboards and windows.
I am having furniture delivered tomorrow so I need to at least get my living room painted tonight. I have a bunch of questions im hoping people can answer for me.
To repaint, Do I need to apply a primer?
What kind of paint should I buy?
Any colour recommendations if furniture is cocoa colour.
Do they have pre mixed paint or do I get someone to mix it for me at Rona?
My baseboards are also in rough shape,
easier to repaint them or buy new ones?
should I leave all my trims white?
how do you buy baseboards?
