The sad thing is, the offline demographic is probably the strongest one for civic elections.Old people vote. And they vote in large numbers.


I've found younger generations (such as mine - Gen Y) make far too many excuses to vote:


- I'm not informed
- All the candidates sucks
- I'm protesting the vote
- What? No online voting?
- Forget it - Politics bore me


Then they complain that there are a bunch of stooges in power and can't wait for a change.The older generations, IMO, have a larger respect for democracy. Voter apathy will continue to plague Canada on all political levels for years to come.
