He definitely loves his home town. My wife thought he was mentally challenged, but I had to disagree with her. He isn't stupid by any means. He obviously grew up in a poor area where grammar and enunciation was not considered important. He probably got through school on his athleticism and didn't really get much of an education despite going to college. Jerry Rice came from a similar part of the country and you can tell that he really has to try to enunciate and use proper grammar.
