That was my first thought too. I wouldn't consider $25k to be a "good" job in this city, but even if that's what each of them makes on average, they'd be bringing home a combined $100k and should be able to swing more than $1300/month. Of course, the costs of 4 big dogs probably eats into their budget quite a lot.

They're quite the bunch of people. You see, when things go bad and you have to evict them and you say "you said that you were quiet", they'd be able to say "no, we said we're 'quite a bunch of people' and when you tell this story to your friends, won't you say 'I have quite the story to tell you'?".
