I don't know if I've mentioned it before but, just to get you all in the groove, the Rovers always run out onto the pitch to this music!
(Believe it or not! This is just one more example, if you needed one, why this team is so great to follow. Bizarreness at it's best!)
The reason for playing it, iirc, is that the show aired on a Friday night exactly when Tranmere came out to play. The tradition just remained to this day.
