although, been discussing it with my wife in relation to 2012 prophesies of the final cycle of 'destruction by earthquake' and it could go either way. the spill could actually be relieving massive pressure which would have led to cataclysmic events...if you think about it. what boggles my mind is the actual pressure of the oil, after so many months, one mile under the sea with the weight of all that water, how can it continue to spew out so much? one pinprick and the earth bleeds so bad?
