Or perhaps when you are sentenced to 90 days in jail, you serve 90 days in jail. Prison isn't much of a deterent when you know that the worst you'll get is a slap on the wrist and you'll be out in a fraction of the time sentenced.
Plus, its seems like a lot of prisons these days are quite comfortable. Tv's in every cell, dvd players, computers.... I wouldn't even be surprised if they have video games. I doubt Lindsay was too traumatized by her short stay.... and I would be quite surprised if she learned anything.
