Edit: so I just got off the phone with customer relations and they said that since I am still within the first year of my contract I would have to pay an extra $200 data fee so they said I would have to wait 3 more months to be able to have any kind of leverage on them. damn.

Yeah, and then try to pay them back. The company they use to collect on an account is out of Mississauga. And it is full of the most inept and arrogant representatives I have ever had to deal with. One person called me 'ridiculous' for having waited so long to pay it back, then hung up on me when I asked for another rep. The second one got mad and said "Just say you won't pay this so we have you recorded for court", I told him I couldn't pay it but I wanted to. And he ended the convo for us. And I assure you, I am a very polite and respectful person on the phone...so this was even more shocking.
Long story a little less long, I've been trying to make the final payment for over a month...but the 'rep' they assigned me won't call me back. And all I ever get is voicemail.
I don't know why this is all necassary for $600.
