Will they? You see, I know that Greenpeace is known for this kind of idiocy, but damned if I can remember the specifics of any previous protest.

Now, I remember the anti-coalition protest because I was there, and that is precisely why it popped into my head when we were discussion the merits of civil disobedience. And while that protest is now largely forgotten, it does need to be noted that the message was successfully delivered: The majority of Canadians opposed the coalition.

In this case, will the message be successfully delivered? Only if the message really is to promote Greenpeace. These fools wont change the opinion of anyone in Alberta with these tactics, and it is the people of Alberta they need to challenge. After all, we are the ones that vote and support the very government that Greenpeace supposedly wants out of the oil industry.
