There's a line for everyone, but that line is going to be different for everyone. Some people think that posting on an Internet forum about a hockey team is way over the line and would look down on anyone who did.
I'd rather just *shrug* and smile at how funny it is.

I felt pretty embarrassed lining up Friday morning for 3 hours by myself. I just didn't like all the stories I was hearing about short supplies and a possible 3 month wait in between shipments. In hindsight, I should have realized the ridiculousness of those claims.
Lining up at the Apple Store today for an hour and a half was nothing. It was actually pretty fun. Had a buddy come with me even though he already had his phone, and there was a dude there in a Team Canada shirt (or hat, can't remember which... just remember the Team Canada part) that seemed pretty cool. We all talked about jailbreaking and cases etc. I cracked a few Android jokes that I was the only one that laughed at. Time went by pretty quick.
Truth-be-told, I'd rather have that experience than just some nonchalant in-and-out thing. Not every day, of course, but once a year for a product that I enjoy as much as a good phone is fine with me. I've been a phone geek for a very long time, since long before the iPhone. I've done crazier stuff than just a simple lineup (like paying big bucks to import a phone in from Europe for example).
