Haven't read every post in this thread but just wanted to say..
While it's too bad that a deal wasn't made, it's nice to see AA not settle at the last minute for a subpar prospect if teams weren't meeting his demands. I would imagine GMs were probably holding out on him a little bit waiting for the rookie GM to panic at the thought of not completing various deals and accept lesser offers than what he had been demanding. I'm not sure if this happened but GMs now surely know that AA isn't messing around and isn't going to make a deal for the sake of making one. Not settling could end up being quite beneficial to the team going forward.
Just a thought.
