I agree with this. I don't hate something because it's mainstream, just happen to hare most of what is mainstream.
Certain bands that I love like Pearl Jam, The Hip and U2 never get any respect in the college radio/indie scene by music snobs who hate in them strictly because they are big. I would never hate a band, strictly because they're successful. That's just lame.
