I get that we have a logjam of OFers now with Bautista, Lewis, Wells, Lind and Snider, but that was a fact when we dealt for Wallace and moved him to first base.
It's almost a guarantee that Snider or Lind will play at first next year now??
A head scratcher for sure.

The amount Wallace has been traded you almost wonder if there are other issues. The guy's numbers look as close to a sure fire major league impact bat as you'll find anywhere in the minors. I don't even think Gose looks like a bad player but a guy playing mediocre A ball with (potentially) a high ceiling doesn't seem like good value in this instance.
Jays executives got hung up on this guy while scouting the Phils last year and overpaid for him pretty significantly at first glance. Bit of a stunner given that AA seemed to be pretty much destroying everyone in the trade market to date.
