I did talk to a dermatologist who said that don't listen to people that say losing your hair is from wearing a hat too much or wearing a hockey helmet, motorbike helmet etc. it's all genetics. From what I found the best but most costly (and painful solution) is hair plugs. I think some people like Jon Gosselin, Bobby Hull have got them done. Expensive but it works. The other solution is laser hair, this can be pricey looking at $1500 - $2500 depending on your hair I went to a place on 36th Street NE by Sunridge Mall for a free consultation...the thing is you if you do laser hair treatment you have to go in twice a week and sit in a laser treatment chair, use a special laser comb to comb your hair and you have to pay for pills that you have to take daily (those can have variety of side effects one of those I hear is weight gain). The simplest solution I found was using the Nioxin Shampoo (mentioned earlier in this thread). If you want to go the route of getting something done look in the yellow pages there are a ton of places that offer stuff, I know for you CJAY 92 listeners that DJ "WIXIE" used to go to International Hair revival something and was reporting on it but I never did hear how it turned out. Almost all places offer a free consultation, they take pictures etc.
How much is Nioxin?
