I loved Inception. About on par with the Matrix in my opinion. I'd rank The Matrix a bit higher because they did so much for a movie over ten years old, without the full advantages of CGI, and other digital effects.

I had a pretty big headache after my viewing last week. I sat there trying to think over every angle going on while watching the movie at the same time. The only thing that actually didn't work for me was the action scene filmed in Kananaskis. To me it felt more like something from a Bond film, or a typical action movie.

Top notch acting from top to bottom however. Loved Nolan bringing back fellow Batman cohorts in Murphy, Caine, and Watanbe. I had never actually scene a movie with Ellen Paige in it before this one. For some reason I felt she was all hype like the entire acting generation today. But overall, she did a great job surrounded by an all star cast.

I have been a huge Joseph Gordon Levitt fan since his days on Jeopardy, Ten Things I Hate About You, Brick, and The Lookout. Knew he would break out someday.

The crazy thing about Nolan is he has only made seven films of note (The Following, Memento, Insomnia, Batman Begins, The Prestige, TDK, and this one), and you could pretty much classify every single one as a classic within its genre. Inception is probably my favorite movie in the last couple years, but I am unsure if I favor it over most of his other films. He is just that damn good. Keep it rolling Chris. Hopefully he can help save Superman as well.
