I saw it tonight and it was ok, but I agree with the "meh" posted above, mostly due to all the hype.
I felt no emotional connection to any of the characters which was a result of underdevelopment. I didn't really care if the team succeeded or not. I barely believed Cobb wanted to return to his children so badly. That wasn't Leo's fault, it was Nolan's. I can see why time wasn't put into this because if character development was the focus, the story would be confusing.
Many of the action scenes were like a GI JOE cartoon (god, how long was that fortress scene?) and mostly nothing I haven't scene in a hundred other action flicks.
When the idea of an inception was first suggested, I was intrigued to see what they wanted to do with it....One corporation wanted to finish another corporation. Oh. Neat.
A good movie, but definitely not the masterpiece it seems to have been made out to be.
