It is a different disease and it does matter. Read up a little bit on the disease and you can see how it has an extremely wide range of symptoms and can encompass many different types of behavior. In a split second, it would be difficult in East Hastings to tell if someone is simply handicapped or tweaking.

"very small and feeble" is nothing more than sensationalist language in this scenario. Does being small somehow make you potentially any less threatening than someone who is huge? Does being small prevent you from owning or concealing a weapon?

There is a very simple lesson to be learned from this: don't touch cops. Bad things happen with you do.

And yes, I do feel bad for the woman as it is quite obvious she isn't getting treatment she needs to potentially live a more normal life. Especially if it really was an involuntary muscle spasm which caused her to touch the cop.
