I would hope she gets whats coming to her in terms of property damage. There is no justification for breaking windows, stealing things, etc. in the name of global poverty issues.

I am also ashamed at my country for how the police handled non-violent protesters. Is this really Canada? I've watched quite a few videos posted on youtube, and I find it shocking that when there's violence, the police stand back in a defensive position and let it happen. Other times, they are manhandling, assaulting and making unlawful arrests against peaceful protesters. (or the cop threatening the chick blowing bubbles... wow, that guy needs to find a different job). The police actions just provoke a cycle of violence. They're the professionals, they're supposed to be able to handle this stuff. Arrest those damaging property on the spot. Advance fast and hard against the unarmed hippies breaking things. But if the hippies are just sitting there blocking a lane of traffic... don't bring the beatdown.

Neither side of the G20 protests looks good.
