The Vipers have done that since day 1. I was at a Dawgs game back in 05 when the Rider morons were piling into that beer garden. We were cheering any time a player hit a foul ball up the third base line in the hopes it would bean a rider fan.
Aside from the fact it is Rider fans, I actually don't mind the principle - Free market, earn money to keep the ball club around, etc. But I think we all know the Vipers aren't monitoring the crowd to ensure that they are following regulations surrounding service to clearly intoxicated patrons.
