One of the reasons I bought an Apple phone is that I did not want to have to think/tweak anything, I just want it to work (which is the exact opposite of what I want with my PC).
They should have excluded the iOS 4 update from the 3G in addition to the 2G. The problem is now I have to deal with figuring out how to downgrade while avoiding losing anything I've done in my phone since the udpate.

I have a touch 2G, and I totally agree. iOS4 is the slowest, buggiest piece of garbage I have ever used. Browser crashes constantly, lag times, etc.
I want to downgrade to but have been way too lazy. Plus are they even going to update the version 3 firmware anymore?, ie: bug fixes. Probably not, but it will still be way better than iOS4.
