It is illegal to eat dogs in China now. You have to go to some underground restaurants to find it. It's still legal to eat dogs in Korea though.
I think on the news a few weeks ago they had hidden video of a horse slaughtering plant here in Calgary. It was pretty damn disturbing. They didnt' kill this horse properly and it was on it's side and all 4 legs were wailing away.
