If you liked Into Thin Air you should also read "The Climb". It's Anatoli Boukreev's account of the same year on Everest and it provides another perspective of the events that occurred.
Krakauer really piled on Boukreev so it's a bit of a rebuttal as well. Maybe not as eloquently written but it's a good read.
