new brunswick:
*pt du chene wharf - nice wharf overlooking shediac bay.
*hopewell rocks - plan it for low tide!
*fundy national park - a few nice vantage points, especially along a few coastal trails.
*cape enrage - small cape on the way to alma. great views of the bay of fundy.
*mt carleton - about 1.5 hr hike to the summit on an easy trail. the view is awesome from the maritimes highest peak. (close to arthurette)
*hartland - worlds longest covered bridge over the st john river.
*reversing falls - saint john
*odell park - beautiful park and gardens (fredericton)
*bouctouche sand dunes - 23km long sand dune jutting out into the ocean.
*pays de la sagouine - historical acadian park in the middle of bouctouche bay.
seriously, look these places up and see for yourself. some of them are awesome for what you are looking to do.....good luck!
