Ah, okay. Our house (well, my parents' house) is at the far left corner of the Nickle field, turn left down the alley and it's right there across the road you come to. I was already at Beaverbrook when we moved into there though, prior to that I lived on the other side of the lake, near where the Inn on Lake Bonavista was.
One bit of Bonavista nostalgia that is still going strong are the fairy tale cutouts that they bring out around the skating rink at the lake at Christmas time. Was home this Christmas and they still had the old Humpty Dumpty, Snow White, etc. cutouts that were there when I was 6.
