Never have broke a bone...but I tore the ligaments off two of my fingers playing football...no pain.
A few sprains and bruises and some nasty nasty cuts...

One of my fave cuts was when I was washing dishes...manually...apparently a tall glass had fallen in the sink full of bubbles and hot water and broke the top edge. Well I grabbed said glass and did the 3 fingers in the cup, one finger out running along the rim washing technique....well lets just say the bubbles instantly turned red and the fountain of blood spurting forth afterwards was intense. Didnt hurt at all though.

The best cut was out along a cutline in the middle of February...we were about 2km into this area...and cutting trees down with chain saws to clear the line. The snow was about 3 feet deep and it was biting cold. I had a young buck with me who was supposed to be paying attention and pulling a rope attached to the tree, so said tree would fall away from me after the cut. He fell asleep or was watching birds...dont know. Tree slipped and bumped the chain saw...which bumped my knee...which caused about 45 stitches. Now remember I was waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy back in the bush. Lucky it was cold and snowy...the snow kept me from bleeding to death. There was no Hospital closer than Calgary...a 45-50 minute drive...stopping every 10 minutes on the way back to get another snow pack.
That was all fine and well...but when I got to emergency they were swamped as usual..they took me into a back room and the Doctor showed up a few minutes later looking grim. He told me that they were swamped and no nurse could assist him with the process, and asked if I could stomach helping him close the wound. A little freezing was injected into the area, it was swabbed clean and Cheese went about clipping the stitches as the Doc sewed me together. That was very weird...and again not to painful. Lost a damn fine pair of Levi Jeans though.
