Technically, all you did was cut out bad carbs, and stopped your body from going crazy with the blood sugar levels and insulin responses.
Plus, you more than likely cut back on calories as junk food, and ESPECIALLY fast food has a VERY high calorie content.
Truth is that if the majority of the people in the world made the changes you did, obesity wouldn't be such a problem anymore.
Its the constant junk food, fast food....lack of exercise that is making our society FAT.
