I really liked that show, That guy turned me on to Bauhaus when I was 16 or 17. I remember a clip of him interviewing the members of Duran Duran (before they were big) downtown under that "Family of Man" statue.
Apparently he passed away from a brain tumour about 4 years ago.
Found this old video of his show on YT. You can catch a few seconds of Mike at the end of Tau Ceti playing in studio.
