I know details are still rolling in and there is sure to be plenty of blame to put on the shoulders of the ride owner/operator/whoever Stampede contracts the midway rides out to (West Coast Amusement?), but this can't look good on the Stampede.

With two full days to go there's been 5 horses put down (EDIT: apparently 6, as per below), bad weather including a huge hail storm, cancellation of one night of Rangeland Derby and Grandstand Show, and now this.

Rough year for the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede.
