The whole debate is practically over anyway, because 4G looks like its going to be focused on LTE across the board, although WiMax is kind of the CDMA of that battle. As far as I know, both AT&T and Verizon are looking at LTE for their 4G networks.

Verizon said they'll be starting to deploy LTE networks by the end of this year, so it won't be an issue much longer.
